The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), a division of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, recently awarded Jobes Henderson & Associates, Inc. a 1 year contract, which is renewable for up to 4 years, to perform various wetland easement boundary surveys throughout the State of Ohio. This contract is in conjunction with NRCS Wetland Reserve Program.

Jobes Henderson (JHA) has been selected for the following new projects:
Transportation – We were selected to renovate and improve Country Club Drive in the City of Newark. We are currently under contract and have begun public involvement and preliminary engineering. In addition, JHA was selected by ODOT to renovate or replace an historical bridge in Washington County (WAS-SR 124) and were also selected by the Franklin County Metro Parks District to provide a new multi-use trail for the Darby Creek Greenway Trail extension on the west side of the Franklin County.
Survey – Our survey department was selected by the State of Ohio, Office of Information Technologies (OIT), under the Multi-Agency Radio Communications Services (MARCS) Program, to provide, as needed surveying services for various MARCS towers throughout the state. We have completed 26 different sites in Ohio and will continue to provide as needed services to the OIT. We were retained by AMP-OH to provide surveying services for a new power plant and landfill in Meigs County, OH. Teaming with BBCM, our team was selected by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) to supply surveying services on an as needed basis for AML sites for a period of 2 years. We were also part of a team to provide surveying services for the renovation of a Bike Path at the Ohio State University and to assist several other Engineering firms with surveying services for a bridge on I-70 and wetland delineation in ODOT District 4.
Site Development – We are part of a team selected by Shawnee State University to renovate and add an additional 20,000 square feet to the University Center. Our services will include all site work, utility work and site survey. Our Site Development Department has been working with ProLogis on an Industrial Park in Etna for the last couple of years and just received the authorization to develop Buildings 3, 4 and 5. We were also selected to provide William Kraner with a feasibility study and construction drawings for a 99 acre development, Olde Orchard Farm Estates, in Granville Township.
Geographic Information System (GIS) – JHA has been selected as a team member to provide the Licking County Information Technologies Department, Geographic Information System (GIS) with Tax Map Rectification. JHA along with our team member will take the current digital parcels and rectify them in order that they better fit the current digital orthophotography.
Information Technology – The IT Department is committed to providing our clients with just some of the following services: Network Design and Implementation, Hardware and Software, System Diagnostics, Firewall and Security Protection, Backup and Recovery as well as Yearly Service Plans. JHA was selected to provide necessary IT support and services to the Licking Metropolitan Housing Authority. This general IT support and service includes a new email server, the updating of Windows software on existing server, networking of all computer stations and the taking care of all in-house IT systems. We were also selected by Licking/Knox Goodwill Industries to evaluate, upgrade and support all IT systems.
