Design Engineer(s)

Land Development
Responsibilities
Design of land development and public works projects. Preparation of construction drawings, hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, grading plans, street improvements, utilities and specifications. Perform engineering calculations and design using specialized technical skills, experience and engineering judgment to transform concept designs into construction drawings and technical specifications. Coordinate projects with clients, contractors, outside consultants and firm staff. Provide sketches and/or detailed layout information to design staff for incorporation into the construction drawings. Provide project specific technical information to the Project Manager for incorporation into the project specifications.

Education
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or 10 years of experience in related civil design. Professional Engineer Registration in State of Ohio is not a requirement but would be preferred.

Experience
Minimum of two to five years experience in civil design.

Municipal/Transportation
Responsibilities
Civil engineering design of ODOT and local agency projects including urban and rural roadway design, planning, utility analysis and design. Responsibilities will include preparation of construction plans, permit applications, engineering reports, and exhibits under the direction of a Project Manager.

Education/Experience
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or 10 years of experience in related civil design. Proficiency in MicroStation preferred.

IT Technician
This position will be the single point of contact for all employees to receive support and maintenance within the company’s computing environment. Must provide installations, diagnosing, repairing and upgrading all workstation hardware and equipment to maintain optimal performance in networking environment. Person must be able to troubleshoot problem areas in a timely fashion, perform regular system maintenance, and oversee the Company’s Internet and Intranet platforms.

Requirements
Must be proficient in the use of the following Microsoft Applications:
Microsoft Server 2003
Microsoft Exchange Server 2003
Share Point Services
Office 2000, 2003, 2007 – Professional & Small Business
Microsoft 2000, XP, Vista
Microsoft SQL Server
Microsoft Project
Microsoft Visio

Responsibilities Include:
Manage the backup and archival operations.
Perform data restores or recoveries in a timely fashion.
Troubleshoot and diagnose system hardware/software problems.
Ensure the efficient operation of the company’s desktop computing environment.
Assist in documenting procedures, resolutions and logging.
Comp TIA certified, Microsoft certifications desired.
Excellent knowledge of internal computer components.
Hands on troubleshooting skills with hardware/software related problems.
Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals, knowledge base articles.
Operate and maintain the company’s Internet and Intranet.
Maintain premise equipment including phone, printers, projectors, laptops.
